Training

Depending on the horse's and /or rider's needs there are two training options available at Wishing Well Stable.

Full Training

  
The rate for full training is $525.00 per month and includes:
  • Work with horse 6 days a week; riding, longeing and lessons on horse with owner.
  • Daily handling of horse; clipping, bathing and groundwork.
  • Holding horse for farrier and vet.

Half Training

  
The rate for half training is $350.00 per month and includes:
  • Work with horse 3 days a week; riding and lunging. Does not include lessons on horse with owner.
  • Daily handling of horse; clipping, bathing and groundwork.
  • Holding horse for farrier and vet

Single Ride
  • A single ride on client's horse - $50.00

Lessons

  
Private lessons are 45 minutes longs and can be taken on own horse or school horse. We also offer coupon books for lessons at a discount rate. The rates for lessons are:
  • Single private Lesson - $55.00
  • Book of 4 lessons - $200.00
  • Book of 6 lessons - $285.00
  • Book of 8 lessons - $360.00
  • Book of 10 lessons - $400.00

Coaching

  
The rates for coaching riders at shows and for 1 day cross country clinics are:
  • Horse Trials $150.00 for all 3 days
  • Combined Test $75.00
  • Coaching 1 day shows $45.00
  • Cross Country Schooling $65

Other Fees

  • Trailering is $0.85 per mile with a minimum of $25.00
  • Horse inspection $125.00
  • Travel time $20.00 per hour
  • Handling for Vet $20.00 per 1/2 hour
  • Braiding $35.00
  • Mane Pulling $20.00
  • Body Clipping $125.00
  • Show Trim $25.00
 

Training Rates

Any service not listed can be discussed and a fee will be assessed according to a $25.00 an hour rate.
