It has long been said when a door closes, look and you will find an open window to go through.
I am in search of an open window to my soul, to my dream, to what I have perceived as my passion for so long and although I know I can revise my dream to fit any moment, it seems I can not revise my heart. And so I struggle, with the absolute joy of another, who I helped facilitate to this very pinnacle moment. I am looking deeply into who I am and coming up with the strength to harbor only support and joy for this moment.
But I believe, I do; I believe this is a new doorway, a new path, filled with excitement and beauty, one that is to be shared with all that have made it possible. For all of us who have harbored a dream and strived every day to make it so. For those of us, that have secreted our passions quietly so as to not to be in the way of the shining stars in others lives. For the ones who stand us back up when we fall, for those that stay in the background and cheer louder then anyone in the forefront when those said dreamers reach the highest moment.
It is with much pride that I announce the exciting news, Gabriel Aguilar has been selected for the short list for the 2010 Central American Games in Eventing. And it is with a heavy, yet knowing heart that I give him my ride; the one that made it possible for him to achieve this, Ezra.
It seems that Ezra was destined to be an international star; I am grateful that I have had the time of my life riding him, and I am the proud owner of one and trainer of both... How cool is that?
So like Peter Pan, when he wished to save Tinkerbelle, clap your hands if you believe, clap your hands loud!
